Like many of us in New Zealand during last year's lockdowns, Fast Company magazine writer Elizabeth Segranfound her local gym was closed, so she started swapping her regular workouts for cheese and wine sessions at home.
Until she realised what that was doing to her fitness and weight.
So she explored other ways to get in shape — at home. She found that not only were many gyms offering virtual workout sessions, but a staggering variety of new fit-tech had hit the market.
Nine months later, she found herself hooked on working out at home and doubts she'll ever renew her gym membership.
Unfortunately, not all of the amazing fit-tech that was available to Elizabeth can be purchased in in New Zealand. But we at Pzazz Building have seen an increased demand from Kiwis to turn their basements, attics and garages into home gyms.
Post-lockdown, if you find "small enclosed spaces full of people breathing heavily and dripping sweat" has become unappealing to you — not to mention, potentially dangerous — now's the time to talk to us about designing and creating your own 24/7 gym right at home.
